Why wait for grass to seed? Get an instant-lawn with new sod.

With homeowners busier than ever, who has time to wait and watch the grass seed grow? Don’t let an entire season or more go by waiting for a lush lawn. Sod offers instant-gratification in lawn appearance and it only takes a few weeks for the grass to root and grow into a healthy lawn for your home.

With sod there’s no need for barriers of protection. Once laid you can walk on it almost immediately unless otherwise advised.. Plus, sod can be installed at your home any time of year where grass seed needs to be spread in the spring or fall for it to grow best. Sod works great on yards that are sloped where grass seed will run off with rainfall or watering leaving your lawn patchy and bare.

When you schedule new sod for your home with Stonebridge Lawn & Garden we remove any existing vegetation as needed, till the soil and prep it.

All our sod is locally sourced to support our community farmers and to make sure that the grass is acclimated well for the climate of north Dallas. We connect with a local sod farm that has the type of grass you are interested in. It’s cut and delivered directly to the site and laid quickly to prevent transplant shock – giving you a gorgeous lawn in just hours!

Finally, we help all our homeowners with a regular watering plan and can set your sprinklers as needed to make sure your sod thrives.

Four types of sod that are best for the Dallas, Texas area.
